A Tag And A Crappie, No One Is That Lucky!

But Today, Tom Was!!

The wind was absolutely a factor today as one of three spots was basically unfishable, and the first spot got that way. Winds gusting over 30 makes for a sporty day on the water but the two guys with me were great spots. Gary and Tom were a joy to have in the boat and they handled the conditions wonderfully.
We were able to fish in our 1st spot for a bit, and it was loaded with Pike. Pike, Pike, Pike, and while they can be fun, we wanted walleyes so due to the windy conditions and the pike infested waters we left, on to spot 2 and more unfishable water.
The 3rd spot was the charm, and we got our Walleyes, the Crappie, and a whole lot of pike were.

Less than 10 feet of water with 66.8-degree water and plastics again won the day. I gave the cranks a shot and they failed miserably.
Now headed off to buy that lottery ticket for Tom!
Good luck out there!
