No Rest For The Weary!!

Had a good group of birds last night on my scouting run, Over 150 birds in a barley field close but not on some sheet water. If they weren’t living there, we had a chance. Set up this morning and there was not a good early flight, just water to water, but as mid-morning came, we had quite a few show interest, mostly all singles, but sometimes those are the best kind. Few eyes look us over, lucky 13 for the day with 1 lost bird.

Tomorrow we are back to fishing for the day, then a wedding for my niece on Saturday, then back to hunting until Wednesday, then back to the North Woods of Minnesota to try to fill my bear tag. Going to be a busy September before the marathon sprint of October and November! 

Ice Fishing Is Just Around The Corner!

That being said, it just means that Ice Fishing isn’t far behind and it is time to start gearing us for it.
