Fishing Report

Saturday’s Trip

Gold Nuggets Showing Themselves!!

We are developing a real ‘hate/hate” relationship with the people that put together the wind forecast. I’d rather see the ‘5-40’ forecast than the specific ‘9-13’ prediction. At least then we are prepared for possible higher winds. Going into today, all 3 of our forecasts said 9-13, get out and its 20-26.

COME ON!!!!!

That’s not even close!!

We were able to deal with it and get what we were after, it just took a little longer than originally expected.

The magic depth for us today, out east, was 21-22 feet of water. In fact, that was pretty much the only depth we even saw fish in today!

Only Color That Worked!

As happens some days, we started the day off by running through some of the colors that we had been using the last few days. In the end, we could only get hits and fish off of 1 color combination, tipped with a worm…

Good Luck out there!
