Walleye Wednesday!!!!

The Smile Was Our Goal!

And….We Got It!!

Had the pleasure of having this young man in the boat today along with his father and the Walleyes didn’t disappoint.  We got a later start than the normal 7 o’clock take off time due to some of my own fatherly responsibilities but once we got on the water the fish were very willing biters.  Spots 1 and 2 were particularly active with quality fish while Spot 3 was more of a mix of smalls and keepers.

We concentrated on the 18-21 foot range and we found plenty of keeper fish in 3 of 5 locations that we fished.

Spinners with worms again and we noticed a little bit of a theme with the spinners getting hit the most.

Both had that float on them, and I think that the more active, bigger fish were going after those spinners that were up just a little bit, something to think about when you sit down at the spinner table.  I know I’ll be adding some more floats to the ones that I plan on putting together today!

Good Luck out there!
