All caught in 5-8 feet of water on:
Tundra Tackle’s
jigging raps, along with a plain hook and minnow under slip bobbers. Didn’t start fishing until 11 and came off at 3:30. Some really nice fish in this spot. Lost a couple at the bottom of the hole and missed a pig twice.

coming out on December 20 . how much ice is out there. how are they doing in the morning ? keep me up dated on how they doing please thanks
The northern lakes have anywhere from just frozen to 12 inches of ice. There is still open water on the main lake but some of the sheltered bays have up to 8 inches. Lots of variation in ice depth right now. As far is how are ‘they’ doing? Do you mean how are ‘we’ doing? Some days are good, some not so good.

Lots of variation in ice depth. As of today, Friday, still quite a few areas of open water on the main lake. Some sheltered bays have up to 8 inches. The northern lakes are anywhere from just froze over to 12 inches.
