Moral Of The Story Is
Never, Ever Give Up

Had I given up when I wanted to, about noon, we would have had a miserable, 1-fish day. It wasn’t for a lack of fish, 8 throwbacks right away at the first spot, but the keepers that had been there were gone, vanished. Then came a very small but concerning T-storm that we kind of had to run from. Went back to where we had been a few days ago to see if those fish would go, nope.
Back to our original spot, no dice. At this point I was kind of in scramble and search mode. Tried one more spot that had fish but again, dinks so the search continued. With about an hour left in our day, and 2 fish in the box, we came to our 6th location, and there we found some keeper that would cooperate. Two thirds of a client limit later the buzzer went off, and we were headed to the launch.
Greater than 20 feet of water out on the main bay.
Spinners and Bottom Bouncers.
Good Luck out there!
