Thank the Lord the Perch Would Play

Cause Ole Wally WOULD NOT!

With the wind switching overnight, and not having to deal with an East wind, I really had high hopes for today’s walleye bite. However, they were still not willing to play, but thank you Perch, because they were very active. Even though the Perch numbers are down a little bit, they were pretty much everywhere today in one area. Hundreds upon hundreds of them. We were able to land 11, 9 of which were Jumbos, and we missed at least 20 probably more like 30. We would be cruising along at 1-1.2 mph when all of a sudden rat-a-tat rat-a-tat, rapid fire bites on our spinners, definite Perch bites.

Over 20 feet of water and spinners obviously.

Good Luck out there!
