Was done with 5 by 11:30 today, this latest warm snap seems to have them feeding a little bit, just in time for another cold snap Thursday night, but it is what it is; warmer weather isn’t far away!
The Walleyes Were Milking like crazy
Easy to identify males when they are milking like they were this morning. The time for selective harvest is imperative right now to allow those big females to do their thing and reproduce for the future.
Whether you are just off the main lake or up in the coulees, we ask that if it is apparent that your fish is an egg-laden female, that you snap a pic and then release her, the future of the fishery depends on selective harvest.
We are spoiled in that the ND Fishing Season never closed, please don’t give the Game and Fish a reason to change that!
It is a wonderful time of the year to get out there and catch some fish, the weather is starting to turn!

Couple really good ones from last night, missed more than we caught but they started to come around last evening and today was lights out!
All on plastics, I think it is too chilly yet for crank baits, but you never know!
