We were shallow, less than 15 feet of water on the main lake today.
Conditions today were actually almost ideal, light wind, warm; almost too warm. We had well over 14 inches of ice out there and no ridges to be concerned about that I could see.
Buckshots were the ticket, one jigging, one on the dead stick. When a fish would come up to the dead stick, I would just flick it, some reacted, some didn’t. I missed way more than I caught.
