Fishing Report

The Time For Lead Is Upon Us!

1st Day Pulling Lead Core Tells Us That!

Was intent to find out of lead core was an option today, and the answer is a resounding YES! The first fish of the day was a 26, that unfortunately had to be cut as it was a bleeder, I think I nicked a gill while reeling it in. We never want to cut fish like that if we can help it, but this one was not going to make it, belly up right away. We continued pulling lead for the majority of the day and while we did catch a few smalls, we were able to connect on a few good ones too, we lost 3 really good fish reeling them in, one right at the boat.

Look for more lead core reports from here on in as the bigger fish are going to be very aggressive on crankbaits.

Over 20 feet of water now, not saying there aren’t good fish shallower, but there are for sure good fish deeper!

Good Luck out there!
