Day Interrupted!!

Still Got Em

Bite Window Is So Important Right Now!

We always try to go early and when I checked my radar before I went, looked like we had a good 2 hours before the rain. Was on my 3rd spot when the thunder and lightning chased me off the lake, so I took a 2-hour break, went back out and for the 1st 2 hours or so, I think the little storm had em lock jawed. So, I searched around a little bit, finally found some that were willing.

Under 15 feet of water with spinners and worms.

Good Luck out there!

  1. What “habitat” types are holding the walleyes now at Devils Lake – weed edges, timber, humps, rock piles, roadbeds, drop offs, etc. Heading up to Devils Lake tomorrow for a week of walleye fishing. Weather forecast looks looks iffy. Would appreciate any info you can provide.
    Thanks!
