Reminding Me Of 2023

That Was The Summer Of Walleye Slaughter

This One Is Shaping Up Just Like It

In the Summer of ’23, I don’t think I had to fish past noon more than 1 or 2 times. Quality Walleyes were just on the feed. Most days we were done by 10 if not earlier. The last week, when I’ve been on a search, i could have been done with my 5 by 9 o’clock, today being the same. Sure, it started out slow, but ever since the water warmed a little and we got a little stain to the water, the Walleyes have been cooperating.

Today we were running spinners again with worms and the fish were willing again. Less than 30 feet of water on the main bay!

Good Luck out there!
