Good Day For Eyes Today!
Perch Not So Much!

It took our Eyes a little bit to get fired up. Nothing right away in the dark and at dawn. The golden hour was a little disappointing. Once they started though it was pretty consistent, no big pods, just singles and double. Right away it was tough to get them to bite in under 15 feet of water. Once we figured it out and what they wanted, we started getting them pretty regularly.
The Perch and White Bass are still there, in deep water, greater than 35 feet, but most of those didn’t want to give it up. Pods of Whitey’s would come through and just swim right by. We did miss a handful of Perch as they were just ‘leaning’ on it. You hardly even know that they had it in their mouth.
Kind of similar with the Walleye bite to be honest with you.
Lure Selection!
As we have done for the past few years, after the 1st of the year, well not be regularly selling Waypoints until after March 15th. We would like to express to you though that Members will still receive regular updates and Subscription holders will get the more in-depth report. We would like to give you a taste of some of what that entails. So for the lures that worked today, this Wonderbread Varmint was hot. They didn’t really want any noise so I switched to it and it paid off.
Walleyes

I did get 1 off the White buckshot though.

Perch
The Perch and white bass were very tentative. The ones we did get however, were on these two, the tungsten tipped with a whole minnow; the tungsten buckshot with a head.

Good Luck out there!
