Tuesday’s Take

Quick One, Now To The Panels

I love quick ones, and it even took 2 spots cause spot 1 sucked. Returned to a spot we had been about 2 weeks ago and hadn’t been back. Trolling spinners in relatively shallow water with 2 oz. bouncers and worms.

Perfect spot for the right wind, like today.

Panels!!

Love This Time Of Year

I absolutely love this time of year, transitioning from fishing everyday to fishing AND hunting everyday, it’s a tough life live but someone has to do it! In the early season, we use panels a lot. They are perfect for Honkers as they usually come in really low and in years where we have had a really good hatch, like this year, they can be very easy to decoy.

Banded and Tangle Free both make some really good ones, but we prefer our homemade ones. If you would like to learn how to make your own, we have a tutorial for just that occasion:

Wanna experience a Early Season Panel hunt with us, shooting 52’s during the dog days of summer?  Give us a call, the opener is only 3 days away!!
