Monday Weekly Fishing Report #15-Labor Day

Tough Bite On The Big Devil

What’s a guy to do when the bite sours and the hunt for bigger fish on Devils Lake turns south?  Well, go chasing Canada Geese of course.  That is what has been occupying much of our time as of late.

The lake has started to turn over and transition over the last week and a half and the bite has gotten really tough.  Normal patterns are out the window and until things straighten out a little, we speculate that the bite is going to remain spotty at best.

Good News!

The good news is that while the ‘Fins” are in hiding, the ‘Feathers’ are willing players in the “NO OFF-SEASON” game that we play here on the Northern Tier.

We hope by next week we have a much better fishing report for you and hope you tune in tomorrow for our report on how Canada Hunting has treated us as of late, you won’t want to miss it.

Good Luck Out There!
