Waypoints For 4-29-17

Getting You The Info As Soon As We Get It

Water was 43-46.7 degrees, lots of follow ups, white Sliders with a jig head and Bloody Craw Shallow Running Scatter Raps in 1-4 Feet of Water agains the cattails.  Slow retrieves were more effective.

North Side
South Side

Both sides of the road before the road closed sign are doable with small boats, wouldn’t attempt without a roller trailer and wouldn’t even think about it with a big boat.

  1. Looks like you eat a lot of fish do the mecury levels concern you. Reading your articles make my day thanks. Keep up the good work.

    1. No, Mercury levels don’t concern me. Eat Walleye and Perch 2-3 times a week in the summer and winter just to keep the stocks down. There is no freezer law in North Dakota and i do a lot of fish fries for family and the family is big. I also give to those who like to eat fish but don’t fish themselves. Anyone that asks if I have extra, I gladly give.
Good Luck out there. Thank you for your viewership.

  2. How’s the shore fishing? Is there any fishing activity going on yet. Any suggestions on area to try? Coming up there on may 5th for the weekend and this will be my 2nd time fishing devils lake.

    1. Always fish biting from shore somewhere. By next weekend you should be able to catch fish from shore on the north end of six mile, north end of creel, any bridge, any rip rap. Walleyes we caught this weekend were all spawned out.
