Took Until 1, But Definitely Worth It!

It wasn’t fast and furious, took us until 1 o’clock. but it was well worth the wait. Five of em were 18.5-19 inches and all but three were over 16. In fact, our first pass on our 1st spot only gave us 1, we had a few misses but there were three different times where I almost called it to move, sure glad we didn’t.

I still believe that because of our crappy June, these fish are about a month behind their usual pattern, meaning that spinners are still going to be good for about another 2-3 weeks. Normally we would have started to change over to lead core and trolled Salmo’s, but as long as we can still get em on spinners, that is exactly what we are going to do.

Less than 15 feet of water in both spots today, spinners and bottom bouncers.
