Too Many Misses, And Then THE HEAT!!

There Really Is No Way Around It

It Is Bloody Hot!

The first 3 hits were all misses, not the way we wanted to start out the morning, at 5:30, trying to beat the heat. Took 4 hits to get out first one, a fat 18 incher. Got 1 more in the first location, along with quite a few more misses or lost fish. Locations 1 has some really, really good fish.

As the wind got too strong for that spot, we went to a more protected area. A long stretch and just trolled along, looking for marks. Again, there were more misses than connections, but we found out what we needed to know, there are absolutely good fish there.

One spot under 20 feet, one spot over 20 feet, and what this means is that there are fish all throughout the water column.

Makes it a little tougher to narrow down where to look.

Good Luck out there!
