Fishing Report

Just In Time For The Weekend!

Yesterday Was Frustration Over Not Getting Five

Didn’t Have That Problem Today!

Got to 4 really, really quick, and then played catching and release until we got the RIGHT one! Threw back a number of keepers but I decided if they were going to do it that well today, I was waiting for all 16+, managed that and then some!

Everything today was under 20 feet of water, even without any wind for most of the morning, they were still on the feed.

One spinner color again today, except for one of em, all the others on 1 specific color!

When it is that repetitive, there is something to it!

In the 1st spot, I wasn’t using any livescope, didn’t feel I needed it and as shallow as I was, I didn’t want the beam to mess with them. The 2nd locations I was just playing with the livescope waiting for the right ‘last fish’. It never ceases to amaze me how long some of these fish will follow a spinner before biting it. There were a few times today that 1 fish would pick up 2 or 3 others and they would all fight over the spinner.

Sometimes though, know how many fish are down there can be a bad thing, cause sometimes they just don’t bite, no matter what you do!

Going to be running spinners for quite some time but going to have to dabble in some lead core after this heat wave pushes more fish deeper!
