So Many Pike Today!

After 4 days of pulling bottom bouncers and spinners, the guys wanted to go after Pike and bigger Walleyes, so there was nothing else for me to do but oblige. Well, we definitely found the pike. So many of them, managed a few really good eyes as well but man oh man are there pike biting right now.
Back to less than 10 feet of water and pitching cranks baits again, SR and SSR, they hit both.
I do think that this extended cold snap has affected the Walleye bite in a negative way, it has also made the deeper water about the same temperature as the shallows so the fish are much more spread out than they should be. There is a positive to that as a guy can basically fish any way he wants to right now and get fish, maybe not limits, but fish none-the-less.
Good Luck out there!
