Some Unexpected Wind Got Us Before We Were Done

One Short, Saw Number 5 A Few Times

After yesterday’s ‘Zero Walleye’ day, had to go back to where we knew there were fish. It didn’t disappoint as on my 1st cast I had one on, the first pass got me 2 Walleyes, and 1 Pike and I spent quite some time in the area. As it turned out, I spent too much time in the area in higher-than-expected winds cause the trolling battery went before I could get #5.

I don’t know but these fish were just a little sluggish today. Had more than a handful of follow-ups and numerous hits that didn’t connect. Nothing more frustrating than getting one to hit and then missing it.

Less than 10 feet of water and cranks, one in particular.

Good Luck out there!
