Graduation done, So We Took August Fishing!

Spidey Rod In Tow, He Was Ready To Go!!!

And The Fish Cooperated!!

He loved his new rod, but what he really loves is to DRIVE!! Constantly wants to drive just about anything, especially the boat! I’m thinking I should get myself a few ‘Spidey’ rods cause the kid is already a pro at casting, just wish they came in longer versions;)

Water warmed up nicely by the time we went after graduation. We had anywhere from 58 to 62 degrees water with a light south breeze, perfect conditions for the little guy. Plastics, plastics, plastics!

Right at, or under, 10 feet of water was the ticket for the warmer water now.

They were all pretty much too big to keep, ranging from 22-25 inches, so there is no ‘money shot’ but I think you get the picture!

Find the absolutely warmest water that you can find, anything over 58 right now is exceptional, 60+ is gangbusters.

Back at it tomorrow, hopefully we get to keep a couple that aren’t too big!

Shopping At Ace!

He Loves This Store Just Like Dad!

Headed To The Boat With Spidey Rod In Tow!!

Good Luck out there!
