Fishing W/Parker!

He LOVES To Fish!

My nephew Parker absolutely loves to fish, and while I am not able to take him out as much as I would like to, today we had about a 3.5-hour window in the morning to get out, so we took it.

My 1st cast, with water that was 53 degrees, and I whacked a 21-inch Walleye. While the water is still on the chilly side, Walleyes are willing to bite as it gets up around 55 degrees. An extremely slow retrieve was warranted and cranks were not working.

Jig heads and paddle tails were in order and again, 1 specific color got all of our fish.

It was very cool today, not going to get much over 60 degrees, but then tomorrow, look out. By tomorrow afternoon, everything is going to fall into place, I bet we see almost 60-degree water tomorrow evening.

Wanna know what that specific color was?

Good Luck out there!
