Too Bad We Have 2 More Days Of It

Two days of blowing and we finally got back on the water today. We had 52 degrees of water at the onset and about the 5th cast we had a Walleye in the box. Followed by some Pike-Pike-Pike, at the end of our first pass we had another Eye and things were looking promising.

We missed probably more than we caught and we only ended with 3 Walleyes, all20 inches or better, and a limit of Pike; which seemed like they were everywhere.
Pretty shallow yet, less than 10 feet of water and water temperatures topped out at 61 degrees by the time we left the water. Afternoons are going to be better for the short term I think but it won’t be long, and morning will get good again.
Cranks were much better than plastics today and we never had a bobber go down.
Going to have 2 more ‘blow’ days tomorrow before the next day that we are going to be able to get back on the water either Friday night or Saturday, unless we venture to a protected by from our High Wind Hideouts:
Good Luck out there!
