All Locked Up!
Wind Was A Savior!!
That second statement is twofold.
- A. It kept a large portion of the lake ice free for the duration of this storm and much of our newly formed ice is snow free
- B. The ice we did have is not snow compacted as it appears a majority of it blew off
We will be resuming ice fishing activities in the morning as we are now confident in the ice sheet on the areas that we have been. These cold temepratures are making ice, and at least in the evenings for the next 10 days we are going to see our ice sheet grow!
