Got 4, Saw 17
The elusive DL Crappie, I love chasing them. On days or consecutive days that I don’t have to guide, I am going to be in a crappie spot looking for them. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn’t; today in our 2-hour window, it definitely paid off. I saw 17 of them, either singles, pairs, and one 3-pack. Got 4 of them to bite and missed one. Not bad for an early morning break from the Walleye bite.
Over 20 feet of water on the very edge of the basin.
Varmints, varmints, varmints with minnow heads.
