After two days of bitter cold, the temps came up a little bit today and the Walleyes bit. Amazing what happens when we get a little weather in our favor.
It was horrible out there yesterday, just simply bad, hardly saw a fish after 9 o’clock. Today, we had fish coming through pretty much all day. Buckshots and Lindy Flyers with a minnow head in less than 20 feet of water.
We didn’t SEE as many as we had recently, but the ones that we did see showed interest and we got these 11 to bite. Maybe it is a sign of things to come, but we do have a pretty nasty cold snap coming up, crossing our fingers!
