Were WHITEY!!
When you see over 500 fish come through in one spot, it is usually a good sign, but today the only ones that really wanted to play were Whitey. Managed to pull 2 Perch and 1 20-inch Eye out of it too, but holy, imagine if the Perch and Walleyes would have gone.
Deep flat in over 30 feet of water. I was jigging, dead sticking, and tungsten full minnow; all 3 caught fish. The Perch both came on the Tungsten/full minnow. I had waves of Perch come through, they would just swim by like my lures weren’t even there.
The whiteys though, different story!
If you want just a fun time of catching fish, a great spot, bring a youngster and they will have a blast.
