I Honestly Lost Count Of How Many Fish I Saw Today
It was like a parade of fish going across my screen, pairs, triples, quads; you name it, I saw it. We managed to get 8 on the line and missed a handful of others but for anyone that says there aren’t any fish left, you sure weren’t where I was today.
Problem was, very few wanted to actually bite. For the last few years, that has been a recurring trend on Devils Lake, and as goes the weather, goes the bite.
The ones we actually got to hit were either on a Tungsten buckshot or a varmint, both tipped with a minnow head.
We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, now it is back to work, searching for Walleyes, and Perch, and White Bass, maybe even a Crappie or Pike thrown in.
