Crappie Search Last 4 Days!

The Diamond In The Rough!

They are very elusive, we know they are in many parts of the lake, but they can be very difficult to find. With Crappie Clients on the schedule, I spent most of my time on Wednesday and Thursday searching for this rare and elusive Devils Lake prize. After two days of seeing quite a few, I took 2 gentlemen on the search of them the last two days.

Both yesterday and today, we saw so many that I quit counting. We finally landed on a spot that we have frequented in the past that had the biggest concentration of them transiting the area.

We were able to connect on one 13.5 incher yesterday and then a 12 incher today. The channel, where we usually find them had many fish in it, but they were all suspended and wanted nothing to do with what we had to offer. We found ours much shallower.

Back to the Walleye and Perch search tomorrow. Ultra low temperatures are making just about everything, including the catching, much more difficult.

Stay tuned…

Good Luck out there!
