Ice Fishing

Cold Front Fishing!

Massive Cold Front

Still Managed 4!!!

And Nothing Better For Rapid Ice Making!

The ice sheet is getting into that 4-wheel/Side-by-side range, as I have seen a few out already. Couple more days and we will be breaking out the snobears for the year, probably Wednesday or Thursday.

Then it is GO TIME!!

We were West today, found a lot more ice than was expected and it was a uniform 7-8 inches all the way out. Good, solid ice, sub zero temps will do that. Going to really start to see people venturing out in the next week.

I didn’t have high expectations for today because of this cold, cold weather; the fact that we managed 4 made me very happy. The 13.5 inch Perch was a welcome surprise!

Dead Sticks today, let it sit, once the Vexi said grab the rod, only then did I even tough it.

Buckshots and Coffin Spoons!

Good Luck out there!
