Even With The East Winds
Still Finding Some To Cooperate

Our 1st location was a dud, big time. Went to our 2nd idea, jackpot. Willing fish, both good ones and little guys. Almost got 2/3 of our fish in location 2 but we wanted to try another area where we had some good fish so we decided to leave and come back if we needed to. It wasn’t 30 seconds, and we had fish #10 at spot 3. Then another, then another; thought we were going to have an early end to our day. Got to 14 and then it happened.
Total shut down. The fish we had been seeing just disappeared. After about an hour of no more bites, we had to go back to where we had been getting em and…
JUMBO!!
My 1st Jumbo of the year out of the boat, a nice 11-incher.
Shortly after we got #15 and it was off to the cleaning station. Spinners and worms, 2 oz bottom bouncer. 10-25 feet of water.
East winds are generally not good, but when you have had easterly winds for about a week, the fish eventually adjust and start to bite again.

Good Luck out there!
