Never ever like cutting big fish. Anything over 21/22 usually goes back to fight another day, and with this one we tried. Nursed him, belly up twice. Put him in the live well for a bit to see if he would come out of it, put him back in the water, and again, bully up. So, he ended up on the cutting board, still mad about it.
Starting to get them deeper now, over 25 feet of water, and maybe that was part of the issue. We were using spinners and worms again but after what I saw today; water getting green and lots of fish in 25+ feet it is probably time for some lead core. Goonna try some tomorrow.
