Early Morning Smackdown!
Five minutes in and 5 Walleyes in the bucket with 1 missed!! Early was awesome and then it went south from there so we switched to Perch and found some Toads there too! All fish were caught in less than 20 feet of water and all on either buckshots or varmints. Minnow heads were absolutely the bait of the day!
The ice is back to pretty firm but there are new cracks and ridges appearing with this most current cold snap, so if you are going to venture out you need to be careful of those areas.
