Wednesday Weekly Ice Conditions: March 20th!

Cold Front Has Stiffened Up The Ice!!

Just In Time!!

After a couple of pretty warm days, warmer than we would like, this current cold front has firmed up the ice and we should be good to go for at least another week. The snow that is forecast for tonight, tomorrow, and the weekend shouldn’t hurt anything, and we just might get into late March, we will have to see.

Walleyes Are Active!!

We were looking for both Walleyes and Perch, we found quite a few Walleyes, 4 of which were the 18-inch variety, all males! Relatively shallow, less than 20 feet of water and buckshots and varmints won the day! Maybe mix in a 1/4-ounce coffin spoon here and there for good measure! Timber and inside turns were pretty active today, and oh how we love that flooded timber!

Good Luck out there!
