Thank The Lord For The Mighty White Tip
Aside from about a week and a half this year, the Perch bite has been nothing even close to what we had expected this year and most of that has had to do with the weather’s effect on the striped, yellowjackets. Have no fear, the Walleyes have, for the most part been willing most of the Winter. A day here and there they have been a little tough, but for the most consistent bite, they have saved our butts on more than 1 occasion.
Today we were in less than 20 feet of water for the duration of the day and we had biters all the way until the final whistle.
Buckshots were the key today, and the 1/4 ounce were the best but we did get a few on the 1/8.
We will have a few search days coming up and we plan to hit the Perch hard to try to find the motherload, wish us luck!!
Good Luck out there!
