Sunday Bitter Cold Front- Massive Shutdown!

2 Days Away From The Ice For Family

Does Wonders!!

With the opportunity to take a couple of days to relax and bring August to his 1st Sioux Hockey game with family, well, it was a no-brainer!! Back at it and refreshed today. One word pretty much sums up the day…

COLD!!

-24 Is Usually Never Good

Proved It Today!

Getting back on the ice was bittersweet after having a couple days off but we went at it like we always do. First fish of the day was a good one and happened before the sun was even up. Felt like we were about to have a great day, but the cold won the day. The hits we did have were very light and I think we had hooked-up with 8 fish that we lost either on the bite or after a few cranks, typical cold front short biting it.

Had we caught all the fish that bit, it would have been a banner day but that was not the case so we were stuck with 4 good Eyes and 1 Pike.

Shallow today, all fish (misses and hits) were under 15 feet of water. No buck shots got us fish today, instead it was flutter spoons and Ripping raps.

Back at it tomorrow, hopefully this cold front levels out a little bit tomorrow and Tuesday it is looking like wind, wind, WIND!!

Good Luck out there!
