Ice Fishing

Ice Report and Bite Update

Lots Of Slush Spots!

No Bite Yesterday/ Some Good Ones Today!

The main topic of interest is slush that is appearing all over the lake, especially in some traffic areas. On spots where there hasn’t been a lot of traffic, it’s not bad, almost non-existent, but drilled areas and spots that are seeing some traffic are getting pretty pockmarked by slush. To get some of those slush areas out of play, we need some bitter cold and it doesn’t seem like we are going to get it in the short term, so a guy just has to be careful.

The Bite!

Yesterday was a day of frustration, today was much better and quite a few biters were landed. However, after the 1st 2 hours, they became much more sporadic and much less aggressive.

The ones that we did get onto the ice, were landed with 2 lures:

  • 1/8 ounce Wonder Bread Coffin Scoon
  • 1/8 ounce Pink UV Buck Shots.

Good Luck out there!
