Ice Fishing

Thursday ‘Ready For The Weekend’ Fishing Report!!

But 1ST!!!

They were pretty fired up for brief periods of time, they weren’t fired up the whole time and actually left altogether a couple of times. Once they would go a little stagnant it seemed like it took a pretty good amount of time to get them back. Minnow heads were more than enough to get them to bite. We were in 20-25 feet of water.

Going To Be A Busy Weekend!!!

It is going to a pretty nice weekend, and we think it will be a pretty busy weekend on the ice, being as such, remember to be cordial and respectful. there is nothing that will ruin a fishing trip than a couple of bad apples,

Have fun out there but be respectful.

Shallow Perch Are Active!!

With way too little data from ice to go by, and more trips on the ice very day, we will hopefully get a better idea of how these fish are acting. With the being said, what I can tell you for use is…

The Perch Are Biting!!

We haven’t been in too terribly deep water yet. The spots we have found fish are in 20-25 and 30ish. That usually is pretty regular for this time of year and those are kind of the ranges we will be continuing our searched in that range for the time being.

Being that we are in that ‘intermediate’ depth range, we think those as pretty shallow Perch so we are going to be really active in our presentations and also going to be jigging pretty actively also.

Buckshots in Wonder Bread and Buckshots in Pink as well, I like the 1/8 ounce as they ball pretty rapidly and stay in the zone as well so that we can get down as fast as possible.

Good Luck out there!
