Fishing Report

Just Eaters!

Storm’s Coming

Then Storm’s Not Coming

Then The Wind

Had planned to hit it early and then the line of storms started coming across the prairie, so we waited.

Then the storms divert south, and we should have just gone early.

We missed the early bite hours but still managed 8 of the needed 10.

Then the wind zapped the trolling motor and, well, nothing wrong with an ‘almost’ once in a while!!

Old shoreline off the main bay in 19-23 feet of water.  Staying on the old timber edge is key and if you get too tight is an ‘oh crap’ moment.

Hammered Silver w/Metallic White strip was the best lure.

I wouldn’t let Nikki have one because we were having a # of fish competition.

Note to self:  Don’t do that again!!

Good Luck out there!
