Fishing Report

Saturday- Get ‘Em Before The Wind!!

I Just Really Enjoy Pulling Lead!

Especially on ‘search days’ like today with Nikki in tow, I’m gonna put down the lead core rods with Salmo’s and just cruise around looking for concentrations of fish.  To me, it is just so relaxing and I love watching that big, heavy rod get doubled over and getting to see 16-19 inch fish surf in across the top of the water.  I always tell Nikki and the kids:

If the mouth is bigger than a golf ball its a keeper and if it looks like a softball its a big one!

They think I’m a dork but I’m fine with that!!

We searched a lot of old shoreline and the areas adjacent to it today and found lots of fish in the 21-24 foot range just on the outskirts of that white line on the Legend Cartography chip.

These two were the two hot colors:

‘The Dog’ and ‘The VIking’, perfect colors for this time of year!!

SKOL!!!!

Good Luck out there!
