2017 Early Honker Season In Review

T’was A Great Early Season!

Well, North Dakota’s Early Canada Goose season comes to a close today at sunset.  We got a late start but when we finally got into the field, there were some great days of shooting.  I love hunting with friends and sometimes truly enjoy the solo hunts as well.  No one to blame when you are by yourself!!  Enjoy a picture look back of our Early Honker season in review!

Youth Hunt Tomorrow!

This little guy will be going for his first duck and/or goose tomorrow.  He is shooting my grandpa’s old savage single shot .410.  The deal was he could go with it when he could finally pull the hammer back all by himself and he achieved that last winter.  He is super excited, maybe not as excited as I am for him, but super excited nonetheless.  Wish him luck and hopefully he is sporting that big smile tomorrow around noon!
