No Doubt The Tourney Will Be A Go!!

All males but the Perch!! She’s in the freezer, 14.5 going on the wall!

With this last cold front that is still lingering, the ice is now over 20 inches in most areas that we have drilled, and getting thicker by the day. It won’t be long and it will be time to put on the extensions.

Still a few cracks and ridges but with minimal snow on the ice, most of those are very evidient and easy to avoid.

I don’t know how much run-off we are going to have this spring with another pretty dry winter so far, albeit we did freeze up very wet, maybe that will help with the spring run-off that is so vital to this fishery; let’s hope so.

Stay safe over this busy weekend, if you are going to be out taking part in the festivities, make sure you have a sober driver!

Good Luck out there!
