With The Deliberate Intent Of Not Fishing Anywhere We Had Already Fished!

Makes it kind of tough but for the last 3 days we have tried to not fish anywhere we had already been, concentrating on NEW areas, trying to get on new fish. Deep in the heart of a cold front might not have been the best time to do it but with a busy schedule of guiding on the horizon it is either find fish or eliminate water.
Well, we eliminated a ton of water the last two days. Historical spots that used to be quite fishy were pretty empty. It was not all in vain though, we were able to identify a few depths and a couple of spots that we will absolutely be going back to. One more day of searching tomorrow and then it is back on the to guiding.
Then things get pretty busy for the month of February, here is hoping the temperatures level out a little bit and the fish start feeding.

Our best lure the last couple of days have been silent ones, Varmints to be exact. Anything with a rattle just scatters them, silent and visual has been the key.
And shallow, less than 15 feet of water.
Good Luck out there!
