ALMOST Halfway Through July
And This Lake Is Still On Fire!
Today was 1 intermediate depth and one deep. Spinners with worms and the unreal bite on Devils Lake continued!
Yesterday was a couple of depths, 25-30+ feet and then 20-25 feet in the 2nd 2 areas. Even with the back end of the cold front, we were still finding fish and by the picture, we found some really good ones.
The 2nd day of a guide trip and the decision was make that ‘no keepers under 16’ and Devils Lake didn’t disappoint. We were cathing fish after fish after fish and I lost count of how many 14-15.5’s we threw back.
The 1st day of the trip and we had so many fish it was unbelievable. This area is just stacked with fish and they are biting like mad. Kind of a go-to, but we like to search so have at em!!
