Fishing Report, Ice Fishing

Tuesday Morning = Lights Out!!

Tuesday Afternoon = Not So Much!

Like SOOOO many other days this winter, the morning bite was on fire.  Marks flying up to meet our lures and even flying past us and actually missing our lures they were coming up so fast.  It was just so disappointing to see those hyped up marks just become dormant, AGAIN, as the day got long in the tooth.

Our two spots were 14ish feet and 30ish feet, both structure based and both with a Walleye and Perch presence.  We landed both in all the spots.

Just not enough active Mud Tigers to make it a great day.

Wonder Bread Buck Shots and Pink/White VMC UV.

On A Side Note!

Getting a lot of questions on Ice Conditions and if an extension is needed.

We will come to you with the Wednesday Ice Report tomorrow, but on the need for an extension, if you are out there on relatively clean, driftless ice; an extension is not necessary.  If you are in an area that has a little more snow or are drill in from a Permanent house or a SnoBear, then an extension IS needed.  We actually extended out Custom extension by another 6 inches to make like easier.

Good Luck out there!
