Things Are Picking Up!
Set out to target Crappie today, and while I only got one, we got a lead as there were many more with him. We also had some success yesterday in shallow water. Buckshots and Varmints with minnow heads and full minnows for the walleyes. The Crappie was on the varmint with a minnow head.
Still pretty shallow, obviously, as the walleye bite is going to be that way with these warm temperatures. High winds tomorrow is going to make fishing a little sporty tomorrow, be sure to tie your shelter down and be careful around any ridges and cracks.
