And It’s Not Due To A Lack Of Fish

Starting on Wednesday and going through today, those 4 days were the toughest stretch of fishing that I can remember. Seeing 50-100 fish a day with very few, if any bites. Whether it be water too clear or too many shrimp or the up and down weather. Something is going on with things when it comes to the bite.
Yes, we have been focusing on Walleyes, but even they are being little buggers. groups of 2-5 come through, check it out, then leave. Time and time again, it doesn’t seem to change the last 4 days. Hopefully this cold stretch will turn them around a little bit, only time will tell.
As far as where we are seeing them, shallow is the key, sometimes, really shallow.
The fish we got today were with buckshots, nothing on flutter spoons or jigging raps.
Good Luck out there!
