An Hour Is All They Gave Us
Must Have Been Up Too Late!

Our bite window was very short today. We had em fired up for less than an hour. A few misses, a few lost fish and 6 hook ups and it was over. Then a long grind of searching and 1 big Perch and 1 Pike and another eye later and that was out day. The fish were there, just really not active at all.
Everything was in less than 20 feet of water and either rocks or trees. Buckshot was our best lure. Jigging raps would bring em in but they wouldn’t touch it.
So, Saturday we had a pretty good bite, since then, it has been really tough out there. Almost painfully so. I think we need this cold snap to get them going again. Drop that water temperature a little bit and give them a reason to feed. Tomorrow is another search day and then back to the grind.
As of today, it ends out early ice waypoint sales. We will resume doing it on the 15th of March. If you would like to keep up on the bite on Devils Lake, and have access to our insights, we recommend going Subscription. Weekly Waypoint updates and day by day reports. Lure color, exact depths, the whole nine yards:
Good Luck out there!
