Tuesday’s Take

There Might Have Been A Fly Hatch!

HOLY!!!!!

Some people dread a fly hatch (Non-Biting Midge Fly for those of you scoring at home) but we love em, they really get the Walleyes feeding, and that is what was going on today. Clouds upon clouds of the little morsels. Funny thing is, in our 1st 2 stops today, we didn’t have hardly any around us. Stop 3, and there were just a ton of em on the water’s surface and in the air.

Normally, when they hatch, we would put down the spinners but being that we were pitching, we went with it, and it ended up working out in the end.

Our first two walleyes of the day came off Cranks, numbers 3 and 4 came off bobbers, we sealed the limit with the 5th on a crank!

Under 10 feet of water, Cranks and Corks, a classic Devils Lake Day!

Good Luck out there!
